Hello, my name is Braxton Banks. I started in the beauty industry not knowing where it would take me. I was told by a former manager to find a career that I would love, so I would never have to work a day in my life. Next thing you know is that I’m going to hair school at Duncan Brother School of Hair Design in Edmond. I started my career at Schardein and Co. Salon in The Village, OK. While at Schardein’s I was trained in color by some of the top Goldwell Colorist in the world, I perfected my cutting and styling craft at Bumble and Bumble academy in New York City, and in 2018 became a Deva Curl stylist. I worked hard to hon my skills and become the best all-around stylist I could be. In 2009 I started working with Hairdreams: The Art of Hair Extensions as a lead trainer. Through this medium, I educate and help inspire stylists to realize their passion in hair extensions. In 2016 I opened my own salon, Salon Exclusive. While owner I trained many stylists and grew them to become independently successful. In 2023 I went back to school and achieved my Master Barber, and Cosmetology, license. I taught many students during my instructor training. Teaching students also allowed me to hon my craft even more. Teaching can be the best teacher! In 2025, with circumstances beyond my control, it was time to make my next move to be an independent stylist. This next phase of my career will help me to focus on my guests and make sure they have the best experience possible. I have many passions in this industry including extensions, hair toppers, short hair, curly hair, and creating rich beautiful colors. What I love most about being a hairdresser is making my clients feel beautiful. I look forward to making you look good!
